A little goodbye. A lot of love.

Five little suns.
One big adventure.

Mom and Dad are off to Italy. Leia and Eitan are staying with the people who love them. Before the trip, Mom draws five little suns on a chalkboard: one for every day until she and Dad come home.

There are train rides with grandparents, muddy puddles with an aunt, and a pillow fight with caring neighbors. There are also quiet moments when the children simply miss Mom and Dad.

A story about feeling close,
even when someone is far away.

From the story to your home

For the moments that matter

A book to read

A little look inside

"When will you come back?" asked Leia and Eitan.
Mom brought out a little chalkboard and drew five
suns.
"Each sun stands for one day," she explained. "When
the sun sets, another day has passed. When all our
little suns are gone, Mom and Dad will be home again."
That night, the children heard the suitcases closing.
They climbed into bed, excited and a little unsure.
A big hug from Mom helped them feel a little better.
Mom and Dad gave them tight hugs and kisses, and
promised to bring them a present from faraway Italy.
